Beets in Brazil

Boil the beets with their skin, let cool the peel and chop into bite size pieces.
Add to a serving bowl along with all the other ingredient and mix well.
This makes one serving, double, triple recipe if you want more!

  • 4 medium beetroot
  • 80 grams (large handful) of your favorite salad mix
  • small handful of chopped Brazil nuts
  • 1 clove chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp Tamari
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • juice of half a lemon

Brazil nuts may be the best source of Selenium found in nature. Just a small handful provides your daily requirement.
